Recipe
- Heat butter and olive oil, preheat oven to 350°F
- Add garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, and some water on low-medium heat
- Season salmon, and sear skin-side down for 45 seconds in oven-safe pan
- Pour sauce over salmon and baste
- Add salmon + sauce to oven, broil for 1-2 minutes
- Baste salmon with sauce, increase to 380°F for 1-2 minutes
- Baste salmon again, increase to 430°F for 1-2 minutes
- While salmon is in oven, cook shallots and butter on medium heat for 45 seconds
- Add spinach, salt, and pepper and sauté
- Plate with fresh garlic (optional)
Notes
Don't overcook the salmon, don't burn the glaze
Use minimal oil when searing the salmon
